My Grandfather owned the Stella D'oro Bakery on Central ave
and Bleeker St until the early 70's. The first one opened in
1922 and in the 50's there was one on Knickerbocker and
Dekalb aves also.  They moved the bakery to Deer Park LI NY 
in the early 70's.  My Aunt had a corset shop for 50 years
on knickerbocker ave it was called Madame Milano's . Does
anyone remember either places.

The best Italian pastry we ever had!
