Wow, it is really great to know people still remember 182.  I attended that
school from kindergarden until the 3rd grade and then we moved to manhattan and
after a year, we moved back to East New York but this time unfortunately I had
no choice but to go to PS 149 just 2 blocks away on Sutter and Wyona.

That was in 1965 when i started, I lived on Hendrix Street between Blake and
Dumont.  That was my school, and the city abandoned it in 1980 for almost 30
years, it is now a apartment complex for senior citizens, and in the back, is 2
level condos.  I will always honor the memory of my old school. It reflects on
