Hi,
The Hammer soda company was on the corner of Atlantic Ave. at the entrance 
to Conduit Blvd and Fountain St. across from the ball field for East New 
York Vocational High School which was on the only block of Wells St.  There 
was a small side door on the loading docks and we could reach in and get a 
couple of bottles.
Traveling along Atlantic Ave. towards downtown Brooklyn was the Eclipse 
Mattress Company which my neighbor worked at and would bring home the old 
buttons to be strung that used to hold the mattresses together.  There was 
also a Water Works on Logan St.  We lived on Crystal St
