Just a little something I would like to pass on to all of
you.

I would like to invite you to join me, wherever you are or
whatever you are doing to please take a moment of reflection
at 3 P.M. on May 29, 2006, Memorial Day.

At 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, Major League Baseball games will
stop; Amtrak train whistles will blast, and thousands of
Americans will pause for the Memorial Day National Moment of
Remembrance.

Nascar, military installations, veterans service
organizations, schools, universities, hospitals,' national
parks, airports, bus lines, and the
International Space Station will also join in.

A great man once said: "And so, my fellow Americans, ask not
what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for
your country."

Please pass this to all those you know so they will know
what is going on and also please stand together and show our
support for our Military now and for those who died fighting
for all we enjoy today. 


Also the next time you meet any veteran or active
servicemen, please say "Thank you for serving". I know it
would be greatly appreciated. 

Count on me on Monday the 29th at 3pm your time which would
be at 9pm my time (I'm in Spain)

Hi, i just came across this topic via a google search anddidn't wanna pass up the opportunity to thank you. Indeed...Let's reflect on those that have given their lives inservice to our country for the past 230 years. Boy, I'll tell ya, thes people up here where I live now in
PA, don't even put out a flag. It's very sad. Our guys are
over there in that godforsaken place, and these people up
here have no respect for them, really a damn shame :-( On a
better note, there was a program on Sunday night featuring
the Air Force Band. They had a guy singing with them who
sounded like an opera star. Turns out he is one of New Yorks
FINEST. My Dad was in the Army Air Corp during WW 2, so I
sang along with the TV, because I have known the words to
that song all my life. To all of our servicemen and women, 
GOD BLESS AND PROTECT YOU, YOU ARE THE BEST !!!

when did Lefferts General Hospital Closed? I have looked
every where I cant find any info on it. If any one has ant
info please contact me thank you
