Just missed you at PS 16 on Wilson ave or st. I was born in
1934, but went to PS 19 until 3rd grade and then went to PS
16 after moving to 454 Bedford ave between s 9th and s 10th
sts. I probably went to PS 16 starting 1942. Did you know
Irwin and Frankie Yablans at PS 16? Frank became president
of Paramount Movies and Irwin produced Siver Streak with
Gene Wider. Alan King went to PS 19 and his dad had a store
on Havermeyer st. Where did you live? Do you remember the
Square, Williamsburg, Marcy, Commodore and RKO theaters?
Tony

The Commodore theatre on Broadway closed a few years back.
It is in danger of being torn down right now. The building
is in horrible condition. So sad. Had many great times
there.
