Brooklyn Repertory Opera is proud to announce the opening of
our second season with a production of Beethoven's Fidelio,
performed with full orchestra thanks our partnership with
Hellgate Harmonie and friends.

Beethoven's only opera was a commentary on current events in
Europe in his time; and is just as timely now regarding what
is happening in the world today. It is the story of
injustice that is righted by the hard work of one courageous
woman, at great personal risk.

This production is presented in English for six performances
only at the Brooklyn Lyceum, 227 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
11215. For subway travel, take the R train to Union Street.
